Lisa is the Principal of Lisa Galano Design Consultancy, an interior design and consulting firm servicing a broad range of luxury multi-unit residential and hospitality projects worldwide.
Lisa began her career at Mark Cunningham Inc. as a designer and project manager for high-end residential projects and the historical renovation of a Miami hotel. Lisa continued to hone her skills at Roman and Williams Building and Interiors as a FFE designer for boutique restaurant and hotel projects. Prior to founding LGDC, Lisa worked under Thomas Juul-Hansen at his namesake architecture firm as a senior designer where she managed interior design projects that included luxury multi-unit residential developments, hotels, and Michelin-starred restaurants. Throughout her career, Lisa has designed and collaborated on projects in New York City, Sagaponack, Chicago, South Beach, Malibu, London, Stockholm, and Istanbul.
Lisa's knowledge of and background in modern and contemporary art have afforded her the opportunity to manage the art curation of many residential projects with existing collections, as well as acquiring art within all budget ranges.
Lisa studied interior design and fine arts at the George Washington University, earning a BFA and BA respectively. Lisa furthered her education at Sotheby's Institute of Art where she earned an MA in Art Business.
